Heart To Heart Talk

Why MLM Does Not Work For Most People

So... you want a home-based business that actually produces a livable income. You may be in a business but not getting the results you had hoped for. Let's have a heart to heart talk.

Although we only know each other through networking, I count you as a friend. We both want a better life that network marketing can provide. From day one my intention has been, “What can I do to make network marketing work for me and others who have the same goal”.

A little about my experience with MLM. I was first introduced to Amway in the early 1970′s. My sponsor was an aircraft mechanic with Delta Airlines. Nice home, nice family. Back then at the Amway rallies the “leaders” told us to “fake it til you make it”.

My sponsor bought into the hype. He made a little money, purchased a motorhome on credit. Every Sunday afternoon, he would load up 10 of 12 of us and drive through ritzy neighborhoods looking at our “dream home”. It never dawned on us that these homeowners did not make their money in Amway.

Later, he quit his good paying job at Delta and went full-time with Amway. After a few months his downline begins to drop out because the “fake it til you make it” doesn’t last long. The last I heard, his motor home was repossessed, he lost his home, and filed for bankruptcy.

That’s the legacy of MLM done wrong. I was completely turned off by MLM. For the next 20 years, I worked a regular job and ignored every opportunity that came my way. In the mid 1990′s I decided to give it another shot because the Internet made it so easy to contact people, and I just knew people would join my opportunity because, after all, if I liked it they would too. (LOL)

I made some money and built a large downline, most of whom quit.

What if there was a company that fixed the retention problem in network marketing? Now there is such a company and thousands are finding success their first week.
